Sherlock Holmes – The Messiah Filess

An ancient testimony. An empty tomb. A case that reaches beyond Baker Street.

London, 1890. A troubled clergyman brings Sherlock Holmes an extraordinary request: investigate the Gospel of Matthew. With a public debate only four weeks away, Reverend Elman needs to know whether the faith he has preached for years can withstand the questions he now fears to ask.

Holmes accepts. Alongside Dr. Watson, he examines prophecies, weighs testimony, challenges assumptions, and considers competing explanations. Their inquiry follows the life of Jesus through His teaching, miracles, betrayal, and crucifixion—towards the startling claim that death could not hold Him.

But the investigation soon becomes personal. For Watson, it awakens questions buried since Afghanistan. For Holmes, it tests whether the methods that expose a criminal can illuminate a claim that would change everything.

Blending the atmosphere of a Victorian detective story with a thoughtful exploration of Scripture, The Messiah Files invites believers and sceptics alike to take a fresh look at Jesus.

What happens when the investigator must reckon with the implications of his own findings?
