Description
This is a book for skeptics and the questioning. It delves into topics such as the fragility of life (hence the title) and what are the odds of God existing or not? Who is God anyway? If God does exist, which god is He? Aren’t there thousands of gods to choose from? Why did God make the universe and everything in it (including you)? If God does exist, isn’t it irrational that one should be able to have an intimate relationship with Him—does that even make sense? And why did God allow evil in this world? Do we truly have freedom of choice? What is sin, and how is it measured? Did God make Hell and, if He did, who gets to go there? If God is love, then what is love? Where is Heaven, what’s it like, and how can I get in? What about all those people who haven’t even heard about God? Where do they end up? Is this present life worth all the effort? Is it simply ‘lights out’ at the end? Is there any certainty in all of this?
Throughout recorded history, mankind has struggled to find answers to each of these questions. The purpose of this book is to provide a starting point for you to investigate ‘life’s big questions’ and allow you to follow a reasoned and logical journey to find the answers to your questions.

I have read many books on ‘finding God,’ but this book challenges ‘good works’ precepts and provides clarity on how God sees us individually and how we can know Him relationally. It is a great book to share with anyone questioning the rationality of faith and belief in God.
